Mike Hagins

Founder & CEO

Mike Hagins enters his 15th season as The Voice of the Bearcats. Mike started his broadcast career in 1990 with WQXL. During his broadcast career he has served in several capacities including the Morning Drive Host, Afternoon Drive host, Program Director, Sales, and General Manager. Mike is currently the President of Palmetto State Sports Network. Mike has two amazing sons Rex 22, and Grant 21. In his spare time, Mike is an avid reader, enjoys golfing and all Gamecock Sports!

Kirt Pichey

Color Analyst For BC Sports

Kirt Pichey is a native of Lockport, NY but grew up in South Carolina and is a 1982 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School. Kirt as been the color analyst for Brookland-Cayce High School sports since 2016. Kirt has owned Creekside Restaurant in Lexington since 2010. He's has been married to his wife Kasey for 26 years and in his free time loves to spend time with his grandchildren, following Gamecock Sports and camping.

Steve Knight

The Voice of the Airport Eagles

Steve Knight is a proud West Columbia resident and an alumnus of Airport High School, class of 2000. He is happily married to Denise for almost a decade and cherishes their beautiful family, which includes their three children: Tucker, aged 18, Riley, aged 17, and Addyson, who is 7. With a passion for baseball, Steve has dedicated over 20 years coaching at Midland Dixie Youth. Steve is an avid supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks.  Professionally, Steve works as a Right of Way agent at Michael Baker International.

Ben Barrs

Color Analyst For Airport Sports

Ben Barrs is an Airport High School alumnus of 1980 and wrestled Varsity for 4 years, contributing to several state championship teams. Ben has been happily married to his wife, Gwen, for 42 years as of this upcoming October. With over 30 years of coaching experience at Midland DYB, he is now part of their Hall of Fame. Ben is a proud father of two sons, Jason and Ryan, both graduates of Airport High School, and he cherishes his three grandchildren. Additionally, Ben served in the SC Army National Guard for 27 years, with 24 of those years spent on Active Duty. Currently, he works as a contractor for the SC Army National Guard, serving as a Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) Lead Contractor for 15 years.
